You delegate work. It slips.
Deadlines get missed. Quality drops. You think the answer is firing everyone and hiring A-players.
But I see this pattern all the time. And it’s usually not the team.
It’s the environment.
Here’s what’s missing:
Visibility: Does everyone know who owns what? If two people are accountable for the same thing, nobody is.
You need an accountability chart. Not just an org chart. A map of who’s responsible for each area of the business.
Verification: Are you checking in regularly? Or do tasks just pile up in ClickUp until someone notices three weeks later?
You need rhythms. Daily huddles for the team. Weekly reviews for the dashboards.
Most founders skip straight to blaming the team. They haven’t built the infrastructure for people to succeed.
If delegated work keeps slipping in your business, take the ops assessment. It’ll show you exactly where the gaps are.
Takes five minutes. Then you’ll know if this is something we should talk about.
